Random turning on / off ... and other weird issues
This is almost guaranteed to be caused by one of two things:
Removing activities - either manually or with a Master Reset - and then updating the firmware using Garmin WebUpdater (we no longer recommend Garmin Express), is the quickest way to resolve this issue
WARNING: Before doing a firmware update, ALWAYS charge overnight first regardless of your device saying it is already "100%" – failure to do this may result in bricking the device!
At all times, a firmware update will resolve a lot of issues.
Never send a device to us that hasn't been checked for this first; if it can be!
- Too much data
- Old firmware
