ELEMNT - Pairing issues - iPhone / iPad
Unpairing your ELEMNT after an iOS update might be required to reestablish a new pairing. Updates to iOS may cause a 'phone pairing failed' message after the update.
To resolve, try unpairing the ELEMNT
If this does not help, you may need to reset your network settings. To do this, go to: Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings.
To resolve, try unpairing the ELEMNT
- Remove the ELEMNT from your phone’s Bluetooth settings:
Open the settings app on your mobile device - select Bluetooth - locate the ELEMNT in the list of "My Devices" - select the lower case "i" to the right of the ELEMNT - select "Forget This Device" - Open the ELEMNT Companion app.
- Within the app, press the 'Settings' button
- "Unpair ELEMNT" then "Pair"
- Scan the QR code with the camera in the Companion app
If this does not help, you may need to reset your network settings. To do this, go to: Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings.
